Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups (360 ml) water
  • 6 whole apples with skin (about 900 g), cored
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Optional for kids:
  • 1/8 cup (25 g) sweetener (maple syrup, agave, etc)
Optional for adults:
  • 1/2 oz (15 ml) alcohol per popsicle (bourbon or caramel vodka)

Method
 

  1. Add water, cored apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg to a high-performance blender.
  2. Blend on high speed for 5 minutes or use the 'Soup' setting if available.
  3. Taste and add sweetener if desired, blending briefly to incorporate.
  4. If adding alcohol, stir in 1/2 oz per popsicle.
  5. Pour mixture into popsicle molds or ice cube trays.
  6. Freeze overnight or until solid (at least 12 hours).
