Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups milk of choice
  • 1 scoop plant-based vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon flax seeds
  • 6 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 frozen banana, peeled
  • 1/2 cup spinach or mixed greens
  • 1 cup ice

Equipment

  • Vitamix (64-oz container)

Method
 

  1. Add all ingredients to the Vitamix in the order listed — liquids first, then protein powder, oats, flax, mint, banana, greens, and ice on top.
  2. Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until completely smooth. No tamper needed.
  3. Pour into a glass and serve cold.

Notes

Lenny & Shalva's note: The frozen banana is doing the heavy lifting on creaminess here — don't skip it or swap it for fresh. If your shake comes out too thick, add a splash more milk and blend for another 10 seconds. Fresh mint makes a real difference over extract in this one; if you only have extract, start with 1/8 teaspoon and taste before adding more. Greens disappear completely once blended — spinach is the mildest, but any soft green works.
