Hi, I bought your recipe booklet. What page is the cookie recipe on?
Hi Efra. Saw your order of the recipe book, Shalva and I thank you. This recipe is not currently in the book, but it should be! We’ll add it to the list for the next update since this is a really great one.
Have you tried making these with a gluten free flour? Any idea what might work best?
We have not, but have found that Bob’s Redmill brand of gluten free flour is usually a good substitute with no other modifications.
Is the coconut oil a measure melted or solid?
Solid.
Could you add more coconut oil in place of the applesauce?
I wouldn’t use more oil for fear that they would get too oily. But you could sub a mashed banana for the applesauce… should work just as well.
What happens if i only use whole wheat flour and not regular flour?
Texture-wise nothing different. I just like the flavor of the combo of flours better.
Hey ๐ I have high cholesterol, what could I swap the coconut oil for? Love you guys ๐ฅฐ xxx
Great question, Laura. You can sub for any other oil (if they have lower levels of cholesterol) or you can sub in more applesauce in place of the coconut oil.
