We don’t loveย displaying praise we’ve earned. But here’s what we need to remember:
So here’s some praise we’ve received for the work that we do. We appreciate every bit of it.
Note: The following are unedited and in original form. We have added links where appropriate for your reference.

I am very happy I purchased the Vitamix from you and Shalva. I recommended you to my friends. The Vitamix is amazing , I wish I’d got one sooner.
From Divya S.
Hi guys, !
I received my Vitamix today ๐ Thank you so much for everything. I tried Green juice today and it was so smooth! I am excited to try more. Thanks once again for helping me start my Vitamix journey ๐
Warm Regards,
From Michael A.
Just got done with my new A3500 order. My wife doesnโt know it is coming. She has been making some wickedly good pureed butternut squash curry soups with our Food processor, but I think this may kick things up a notch. I love the Food Processor for what it can do and how well it does it. I think this new Vitamix will really make our holiday experimentation over the top and add some additional capabilities for the duration of our lives.
Thanks for what you do and I am happy to order directly through your link to Vitamix.com since you both are actual people who put time and effort into your endeavors.
I canโt wait to see what your experiences will result in for us and our family. I look forward to your Vitamix 101 class.
Thanks again, guys.
From Donna S.
I am one of those people that would really love to go vegan (I’m a vegetarian) but I’m faced with challenges (namely a spouse who won’t give up meat and my love of cheese haha), I really want to use my vitamix more – and I think if I do that it will be possible to have a household with 1 meat eater and 1 vegan enjoying meals together.
Something about your videos and your casual style caught my attention – I’m not one to sign up for alot of emails or anything, but I think between the “regular” food you make and the fact that you focus on the vitamix and using it for making real fresh homemade food is what did it for me.From Raqual K.
I am vegan and obsessed with my vitamix so naturally my mother searches google non stop for websites to send to me. Her mad searches are fueled by fears of my children not getting enough nutrients on a mainly vegan diet ? thatโs me rolling my eyes. So I opened the link because your name was interesting and I saw something about your cashew cheese dip putting your website on the map and I was all over that. Iโve made others before and my kids and husband liked them but yours was the easiest by far. (And absolutely amazing.) So now I believe your awesome and continue to make your creations. Your Frosty yesterday was ?? and making the Carmel dip tomorrow in hopes of diverting my children from all the Halloween candy. Appreciate the great content and once I can convince my husband I need the newest vitamix I will 100% use your link!
From Mark W.
Purchase of the A3500 is complete! Very excited for the unit to arrive. Please find attached the order confirmation from Vitamix and I would love to get the digital Life is NOYOKE starter kit for new owners. Thanks again for your help.
From Aaron R.
Yo Lenny! I got a vitamix recently for a wedding present and looked up some recipes from your site to make last night. We made the peanut sauce and the cauliflower fried rice. They both were easy as could be, super quick, and tasted amazing! Also, your video on how to make the fried rice in the vitamix was super helpful. For the peanut sauce we stir fried some onion, broccoli and sugar snap peas instead of meat. I’ll be trying many more of your recipes. I went vegetarian to try and lose weight for the wedding because nothing else was working. I ended dropping 15 lbs in under a month and am going to keep it going. Just wanted to give you some positive feedback! Keep up the amazing work my man! Cheers, Aaron

I found your website online while researching and was blown away with the helpful content and reviews. I very much appreciate the extensive information so I was sure to use your promo code when I bought direct.
From Rex K.
My wife Micki and I are absolutely loving our new Vitamix. We use it almost everyday, sometimes three times a day. We use it mostly for smoothies, soups and nut butters but are looking forward to trying other things. Even though Vitamix provides a lot of recipes we gravitate towards the ones on your site. We have made five or six of your soups already and they are all outstanding. I’m going to make your new borscht recipe today. Trying to beat the Heat. I am also a vegan so I appreciate your website and newsletter. They help a lot and keep it interesting. Best wishes for you too and your little one on the way.
From Tim B.
“Iโve been a vegetarian for a long time.
I started looking at blenders and blenders vs juicers about a year ago and I ended up watching a lot of your YouTube videos. Your videos seemed to be the most informative and the easiest to watch.
When the Ascent series came out, I knew that the A3500 was the model I wanted to buy. When I watched your videos on the smaller containers I said, โThis is something I can use everyday!โ
You guys totally helped me with my decision. The free shipping was nice, but I wouldnโt have considered buying my machine through anybody else.
I’m looking forward to using your website for recipes and advice.
Thank you,”
From Ivy C.
“Thanks. I’m super excited about it. I wasn’t planning on getting such a fancy one but it popped up and seemed like an outrageously good price. I did a lot of vitamix research and read various blogs and naturally yours comes up frequently in those searches. My husband emailed you a while back for recommendations and while I ended up getting a different one, I liked how straight forward your answers were. I also liked that you guys are vegan and have a lot of vegan recipes for the vitamix. Also, I saw that you are based in Hawaii and I’m from Oahu ๐ Thanks again. I’m ready to start making some of your recipes and get healthier.”
From Kendra P.
“I was searching for a buyers guide because I was not sure which model to buy or where from. I stumbled upon a few different sources, but was attracted to your site because I am purchasing my vitamix because I am beginning a plant-based lifestyle, and you guys have some great resources I plan to use!”
From Krista H.
“I follow a lot of vegan youtubers online and a lot of them have their own “promo code” similar to what you guys have! And I guess I was just still doing research on whether or not I could really justify spending the money on one.. And I stumbled upon you guys! Then I read your whole website.. And realized you guys also offer little bonuses as a type of thank you for using the promo code. And I thought that was totally awesome of you! And then I just thought “Fuck it! Let’s do it! We don’t have kids we have to feed/clothe! Let’s get this metallic baby!” And then I bought it. And now I’m waiting for it to arrive ๐
Thank you again for your website!! It looks super useful/helpful and I can’t wait to use all the new knowledge!! ๐ :)”
From Denise P.
“I’m living with some non vegans and I do all the cooking. Also I live West Virginia. We have no Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods. No vegan restaurants. We are one of the fattest states in the US.
I learned about the new Vitamix from watching your YouTube channel. I like that your videos are easy to follow and very informative.”From Ian M.
“I found you by doing a Google search on something like โbest Vitamix model how to choose.โ
That took me to your YouTube video recommending the Ascent 3300 for most people. I ended up going with the Ascent 3500, however.
I chose to buy through your link even though I probably could have saved $20 by going through Williams Sonoma, in part because of the value you provided (and I wanted to reward you for) and in part because I wanted to buy through Vitamix directly in case anything goes wrong. There was another site offering free shipping using their code, but I didnโt like their content as well as I liked yours. Basically, I trusted you.
Thanks for all the good stuff.”
From Jada S.
“I was going to buy a Vitamixย through Crate & Barrel so I could use a coupon. There were so many to choose from so I searched “which vitamix should I buy” and you were the second or third website I looked at. Basically I liked what you guys are doing. And I appreciate your sense of humor and how you don’t use the same style/voice as most bloggers. I find most bloggers extremely annoying. Also thanks for not bombarding me with a million obnoxious pop-ups so you can make passive income. I’m also very interested in your recipe suggestions. I’m a trained natural foods chef and have always dreamed of having my own Vitamix!
I look forward to checking out your starter kit. Thanks again ?”
From Molly T.
I just ordered my first Vitamix – an A3300 per your recommendation – with your โ link to vitamix.comย Thanks! and am
scared as sh*t by the money I just spentsuper excited!ย I found you guys on YouTube when I was looking for video reviews of various Vitamixes and just liked Lenny’s style and the play-on name of Noyoke. Then when I was looking for VTMX promo codes or discounts, your website came up. And, frankly, it looked like free shipping was as good as I could find, so I just went with you guys. Figured you’re a good cause?! I just REALLY hope the pit in my stomach over the expense dissolves with my first smoothie and never returns!!From Sheree P.
It was several months ago when I decided to get a REAL blender after another cheapy bit the dust.
(I remember as a kid going to a Home Show with my parents and seeing a live demo of a VitaMix – it was avocado green, as everything was in the โ70s haha, and it had a metal square-ish pitcher, and it rocked. Do you remember those?)
So I started researching VitaMix and realized first, I needed to start saving!
Your website was the MOST helpful of any I came across, and also pointed me in the direction of the reconditioned units -YAY!
I also found your recipes and techniques. I loved you and Shalva’s personal story. I appreciated how well the site was done – so much info, easy to read, a little humor.
From Michael F.
It was an easy decision to buy through you guys. When I began researching what blender I was going to buy back in late March, I knew it was going to come down to a Vitamix or a Blendtec. Being unfamiliar with the Vitamix models, I decided I was going to look at their newest product line. Life is NOYOKE was one of the first search results when I looked for reviews for the Ascent A3500 and I began perusing your website just to learn more. After looking through the recipe index you have, I was sold back in March that I was going to use your affiliate code because you guys had something that appeals to me – being healthy and being vegan. Although I’m not vegan, I keep Kosher and find that vegan recipes work very well in a Kosher home (for one obvious reason – it’s Parve!). More importantly, I’m trying to keep healthy lifestyle and would rather cook myself instead of going out. I’ve always had struggles with my weight and I found myself relating to where you were coming from with bad eating habits developed by working in corporate life. Seeing as I still live that lifestyle, I wanted to find a way to improve my life without leaving what I enjoy doing for work.
From Sheila M.
Thank you! I love that you two are taking the plant-based approach to the Vitamix, and that’s what sold me on buying through you… that is, of course, in addition to your fun approach, winning personality, and great story together!!
My husband and I took the plunge to go whole food, plant-based nearly 5 years ago, and it has been incredible. Hats off to you two for bringing that message for health, the animals, and the environment to people through Life is NOYOKE!!
All the best of health, success, and joy to you both!!
Kayleigh W.
Thank you for the video on ninja vs vitamix!!!! It helped me out so much!!
I’m returning my ninja to the store, and am excited to try the vitamix. It will be my first personal blender (right now I use my parent’s nutri bullet).Jeff B.ย
Can’t wait to get my Vitamix and your guide! You made the decision easy! Happy Holidays!
From Darren S.
I signed up for your email list the other day, when I was searching for a Vitamix on ebay, and came across your unit for saleโฆchecked out your website. I had been planning on a new Pro 500, and after viewing your blogs, decided to upgrade to a CR 750. However, they are all sold out, so went back to ebay and purchased a brand new Pro 750 for the same price as a CR 750. Had that not been available, I definitely would have purchased through your affiliate program at Vitamix.com, but I saved us over $100, and the seller included overnight shipping for free. Thank you for turning me on to the new generations model. Itโs for my partner as a Hannukah gift (for the 8 nights hahaha) for our shared apt in San Francisco. Heโs vegan and got into a motorcycle accident about 6 weeks ago, had a couple of surgeries, and is healing and recovering nicely. However, heโs lost a lot of weight and hasnโt been able to cook as much as he used to since the accident. Iโm hoping this will help with food prep, especially the easy cleaning, since he still canโt fully use his arm. Weโve had a Cuisinart blender there, which is good for fruit smoothies (which he likes), but veggie smoothies (which I love), not so much. So weekends Iโm there and always complain about the chunks of veggies, compared to the Vitamix in LA. I live in Los Angeles.
You and your lovely wife have some incredible recipes that Iโm eager to try out. We have a Vita Prep in LA that I got from a restaurant supply house 7 years ago and am so happy with it. I have been recently diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and looking to move to a plant based diet, vegan hopefully, to reverse this condition. Mostly green smoothies, with lots of nuts and seeds, soups, lots of hummus, etc. I use the Vita Prep for food prep a lot. I canโt wait to try your cashew quesoโฆdairy and gluten free, wow. Gonna have to hunt down nutritional yeast.
Thank you and Shalva for doing what you both do. I am looking forward to your upcoming recipes, albeit I will adjust for the diabetes.
Happy Hannukah to you both.
From Nancy M.
I’m a vegetarian and recently for about two years prepared vegan dishes but they are a challenge and not as well received at potlucks than something loaded with cheese. I’d like to prepare good-tasting, make ahead (and possibly freezable), casseroles.
We’re hoping to incorporate our home-grown veggies such as kale, beets and carrots into smoothies; our current blender (very nice, 25 yr. old Kitchenaid) is unable to handle hard and/or stringy chunks of food. Using a food processer and blender helps but the texture is off.
I’m hoping to improve the texture of blended cashews or other nuts I use for squash soup, gravies, etc.
I’m not a natural cook and must follow recipes exactly to have any hope of success.
A friend puts on a once-a-month health talk at our church at which we are to bring items for a raw-food-potluck. I’m not in to raw foods but some of her dishes are really good (prepared with Vitamix). My machine didn’t come close to duplicating the textures and consistencies. I’d like to try when my Vitamix arrives.
From Andy S.
My wife and I (32 & 33) have been on a semi vegetarian diet for about 5 years. We never buy meat or fish at at the grocery store but occasionally eat it when we go out. We still have eggs and cheese at home as well. We would really like to take it all the way and settle in to an all plant based diet. I recently purchased a refurbished Vitamix to help us get there. I was searching for Vitamix inspiration and found your videos. We are excited to start the journey but are new to it and are still trying to find a routine that works for us. The kicker on top of it all is we have a 4 year old daughter that we would like to raise plant based as well so we need to find things to replace her favorite foods (eggs, pizza, bacon) and make it enjoyable for her as well. That’s pretty much it. We hope this can be a lasting change.
From Johanna G.
I am a new plant based eater. Gluten free, dairy free, meat free except for an occasional egg and some fish.
I have a plant based cookbook from Julia and Rich Roll and the vitamin is essential!Thank you for your information prior to purchasing the vitamix! I bought it last night in addition to some amazing knives! Happy cooking!
From Genny K.
I’m researching Vitamixes – I help care for a young woman with ALS and my goal is to figure out a way to blend healthy โrealโ food fine enough so when itโs diluted it can be fed safely and successfully through her feeding tube.
Thank you so much for your blog.
From Marianne S.
I live with an autoimmune disease, ulcerative colitis. I get infusions of Remicade every 8 weeks to treat inflammation. After receiving treatments for two years, I was hopeful that things were getting better. I was completely devastated & shocked to learn that the inflammation had changed only slightly after having my colonoscopy.
With the aid of my daughter, (she also just purchased a reconditioned Vitamix), she helped me to drastically change my diet. I have gone organic, mostly gluten free, & try hard to stay away from refined sugars most of the time…… which is really hard when you love chocolate!!
While I’ve been working on changing the way I eat, my doctor had doubled my Remicade treatments to see if that would make a difference with the inflammation. Honestly, going for infusions every 8 weeks for the rest of my life is NOT something I want to continue to do. Four years of my life has been dedicated to this treatment, & with my next colonoscopy at the end of this year, I want to get off the Remicade. I am doing everything I can by eating real, whole food to heal my body naturally. From Rita M.ย
I am working on getting a stronger back and neck through my rehabilitation exercises. Overall: Stronger physically.
I want to be more creative with my recipes. I saw how extensive your recipe index is – all of your recipes are super clean, easy and healthy!
I also use the Vitamix and the Nutri-Bullet. But there is anything like the Vita-mix! I love my Vitamix!!!! (My go-to recipe is always frozen berries, ice, almond milk or plain Kefir, Udoโs oil, and a protein powder mixโฆ sometimes I add 1/2 banana, or peanut butter, or walnuts. Or just plain spinach and carrots to the mix.
I also puree soups (for my 88 year old mom who lives with us) adding boiled chicken, spinach, or other greens, carrots, zuccini, yams, celery, parsley, bell peppers, onions, garlic, and no-salt spices. I never eat these tasty soups- I should though.
My challenge is getting a “jump start” on healthy eating again and finding fun and healthy recipes to make together with my husband. I feel stuck and seem to make the same easy items.
Your website has inspired me to move towards a healthier meโฆ.. I think I just need a bigger nudge in the right direction!
Thanks Lenny!!
From Stuart S.
Just want to thank you for this post.” It guided me to purchase a reconditioned Vitamix unit selling for $399 a little while ago. I invested in this one.
I ordered it over the phone and gave them your coupon code.
From Jim L.
I came across your YouTube videos when I first started researching the Vitamix blenders. I’ve probably seen all of them by now, between getting stuck in the YT rabbit hole and on your site. You’ve got great energy on cameraโthere’s no bullshit, just doing what you can to connect with us lazy folks sitting on our asses.
As I explore more of LINY, I found much more than recipes. There was a whole new way of thinking about food and health (maybe it’s an old way, what do I know?). I just turned 54 last week and on that day made the decision to take better control of my health. Seeing those two ID badges side by side on your site (you’re a brave soul putting that out there! LOL) pretty much sealed the deal that I could now explore healthier options, at my own pace and for my own reasons. Ditch the Cherry Coke Zero (aaaaaahhhhh!), ditch the corn syrup (yes, please!), and try to squeeze more veggies into my life through Vitamix.
I’m waiting to get paaaaaaid (waiting on freelance clients to pay is the worst) so I can order my reconditioned Vitamix. That’s a great deal they’ve got at the moment. I was leaning towards the 750 Pro, but you actually convinced me to try the reconditioned CR Pro 500. (Do I really need two extra programs for purees that I’ll never use and a cleaning function that even *I* can stand there for a minute and watch while it self-cleans?) While the wider container might be easier and the slightly more horsepower and quieter motor would be nice, is it worth $400 more to me? Not at the moment. (See freelance checks above. Ha!)
I was actually talking to Vitamix customer service yesterday about a few questions I had and they offered me free shipping. I told them, “Thanks, but I’m going to go through one of your affiliates, Lenny Gale, so he can get the credit for it.” So once those checks come in, the order gets placed immediately and life on this end begins anew. My decades-old Hamilton Beach is doing what it can for “smoothies” (and I type that word in air quotes) in the meantime. (Can’t tell you how many leftover chunks of frozen strawberries and peaches I had to deal with yesterday…)
So thanks for reaching out and thanks for the great work you’re doing. You’re helping at least one person. ๐
From Tony F.ย
I Ordered a Certified Vitamix using your code to get free shipping thanks. My goal is to go on a 90% Plant Based Diet to lower my cholesterol numbers.

I just ordered my first Vitamix with your code after months of being on the fence. Thank you for the great articles on your site. They really helped me make a decision. Looking forward to getting the machine.

I’d like to thank you for all the hard work and effort you put in this website and in your videos.
I have enjoyed them all and found them very informative, and after an extensive research on “blenders” I have finally decided to buy a Vitamix blender.
I am leaning towards the pro750, reconditioned most probably, why do I want that one although I have never owned a blender before? I always think if I am paying a lot, why not just get the best thing and not think why didn’t I get the better one! From Matthew C.
I hope this greets you well. My name is Matthew, and I have been doing research on the Vitamix for over a year. I finally decided to take the plunge (no pun intended). I ordered the Pro 750 and will be receiving it in the mail tomorrow; I am really excited. I so appreciate your videos and information on your website, because of that I decided to utilize your promo code instead of others.
From Sara S.
I havenโt taken the plunge yet, I have not purchased a Vitamix but am fascinated that you are dedicated to educating the public about them. This might be the year I pull the trigger…thanks to your advice and encouragement.
From Jeanne M.
Iโm 52 and have not consistently focused on keeping a healthy diet and exercise, but have done it in spurts– like being vegan when I met my husband, who was trying to reduce his cholesterol. We lowered it but not enough to keep from taking medicine anyway and we reverted pretty quickly back to a normal โmeat eatersโ diet. Iโve luckily always been a healthy weight without really having to diet. But since my late 40s, Iโve seen a big difference in my metabolism and Iโve actually had to work at it. I actually joined weight watchers at work last summer, before our wedding last Aug. and lost about seven pounds so Iโd look even better in my wedding dress. I learned a lot about how adding fresh fruits/vegetables and watching portion sizes to lose weight and how it increases energy.
Unfortunately the stress of the layoff didnโt help and I gained it back then a couple lbs. more. But with the loving support of my husband, Iโve accepted the layoff as a blessing, and am more focused on finding a job I love, possibly in the food industry. I also plan to dedicate some of my unemployment time to getting healthier and youโve given me some great new ideas for doing that. Iโm going to add weightlifting to my normal workout plan (jogging 30-45 min., 3-4 times a week) and Iโm also going to try your diet hints, as well.
I hope I can find a similar rewarding way to work online, using my Cajun-Asian gourmet cooking interest/skills.
AND I canโt wait to get my Vitamix and get started making my own hummus!

I accidentally stumbled upon your website whilst searching for a recipe video for a Vitamix almond milk tutorial. I have not had my Vitamix 5200 that long and I am looking to accelerate my learning to get the most from my machine. I have been experimenting and getting some good results but I am not making the most of its capabilities.
I have also had a cursory glance at your site and have earmarked lots of recipes that I am going to try the cauliflower au gratin looks truly amazing. I have cut out dairy and animal fats and have so been missing cauliflower cheese!
Apologies, for the digress to my question. Do you have or know of a recipe for Potato Dauphinoise that is dairy free but like your cauliflower au gratin will give the same creamy tasty end result. I tried a recipe last week but it did not turn out that great.
Any help on this would be very much appreciated. I have signed up to your emails and your YouTube channel. I can’t wait to find a couple of spare hours to read/watch the recipes.
ps I am making your Alfredo sauce pasta dish tonight. It looks yummy!

My issue is that I am a southern cook. I drink sweet tea. And I love coffee, chocolate and cinnamon rolls.
I have taught my daughters a love for this type of food.
My husband and I need to do a better job of teaching them to eat healthy.
Certain foods are absolutely hated in my house โ squash, onions, bell peppers. So it is hard to find healthy recipes that my family will eat.

I spent most of last night and some of this morning reading your website, thanks for all the awesome information!!!
My fiancรฉ just decided we need a Vitamix because our pediatrician told us smoothies would be a good way to get vegetables into the 7 year old. He has experience with protein shakes and whole food smoothies and used to have a ninja bullet. My experience with protein shakes is adding the powder to milk in a shaker cup or in my $30 blender with a banana. After reading your website I see how a Vitamix would benefit us and can see us making whole food smoothies for the 3 of us. Thank you for your help.
