How’d it go? Tell us everything!
Wow, wow, wow.
This was my first of your Vitamix recipes I made, and it is the most delicious juices EVER.
It’s kinda got a pineapple orange creamsicle taste without the oranges, so refreshing
This is very delicious! I was all out of greens, so I went for this recipe. I got a little off the recipe and squeezed a small orange in in addition to the lemon. It was an accident, but sure turned out great! I wish I could get fresh ginger in my small town, but it is always old if even available. Thanks for another healthy, tasty recipe.
Try buying a large bulb of ginger then peel and cut it into 1” pieces before freezing. Just take them out a piece at a time to use – just like fresh ginger!
I prefer to juice the carrots and lemon in a juicer; then add the juice and other ingredients to the Vitamix. This avoids the pulpy taste common with carrots.
Delicious on a hot summer day.
Interesting. Does sound delicious and gets you the benefit of whole food other ingredients!
I’m a new Vitamix owner, just received it yesterday! I tried to make a carrot juice from their recipe book with water, carrots, lemon juice and I added ginger and a clementine.
It seemed more pulpy than I would expect a juice to be so I blended it longer. Still not much better so I did it again and added more water. The end result was a warm, thicker liquid that I wasn’t so jazzed about.
I’m just wondering, is this what juice is like when you use a Vitamix? Does the juice usually need to be refrigerated before drinking or did I blend too long? I’m just not sure what to expect from this! Thanks!
Whole food juices are naturally going to be a bit thicker than an extracted juice.
Next time instead of adding water, consider adding ice. Same idea, but will get you a cold result.
A couple of juices to try: I am Spicy Hot — fabulous. Lower Back Pain Relief Juice — also great.
