What about the warranty? Do I need to register it?
Every Vitamix we sell comes with the full 10-year warranty โ free shipping both ways, no questions asked. You don’t need to register it ahead of time. If anything ever comes up, your machine is covered by its serial number. Just email us and we’ll take it from there.
Are these Vitamixes new?
Yes โ and more specifically, they’re fresh. Every machine we sell ships directly from Vitamix headquarters in Cleveland, Ohio. Not a third-party warehouse. Not a return. Built and shipped for you.
What’s the benefit of buying from you over Amazon?
Amazon will sell you a Vitamix. What it won’t sell you is a human who answers email, knows your name, or can tell you what to make for dinner on a Tuesday. Every machine we sell is new, factory-direct. No third-party sellers, no renewed units. Just us.

Which Vitamix to buy
There are more Vitamix models than anyone needs. This page cuts it down to what actually matters for most people
Where to buy
Lenny has sold thousands of Vitamix blenders and will tell you straight when you shouldn’t buy one from him. That’s either a red flag or exactly the kind of person you want to buy from.
Vitamix Deals
There are Vitamix deals seasonally. Though the savings are not dramatic. Here’s what exists.
X4 vs X5
The X5 and X4 are performance twins โ identical motors, identical containers, identical results. The only difference is the X5 has five extra preset programs and a flashier dial. You can make everything the X5 makes, even if the X4 doesn’t have the program dedicated to it. The X4 may be a bit more minimalist while the X5 has more guides for “trying everything.”
5200?
If you’ve been on Reddit, someone has told you to get the 5200. We understand why. We also disagree.
The 5200 is the most commonly recommended model online because itโs nearly identical in size and shape to what chefs use in commercial kitchens. Hereโs the thing: the 5200 is a solid blender, but itโs also 15+ years old. No preset programs, no add-on attachment compatibility, no tamper holder, and a extra tall container thatโs not dishwasher safe. The X2 gives you everything the 5200 does plus dishwasher-safe containers, programs, and accessory compatibility. Unless you specifically want the tall, narrow container, the X2 is better. You get modern convenience and future compatibility with the same controls and end-results.
a3500?
The A3500 is discontinued. If you’re looking for it, the X5 is what Vitamix built to replace it โ and it’s better.
Accessories: Do I really need it?
Food Processor Attachment
The Vitamix Food Processor Attachment transforms your premium Vitamix into a 2-in-1 appliance, expertly handling all your slicing, dicing, and mixing needs. Itโs a great addition, especially if youโre wanting to expand your culinary capabilities right away.
Aer Disc Container
The Aer Disc Container could end up being your favorite container for its ability to create cafรฉ-style drinks and mixologist-worthy beverages. But it will most likely be the container you use the least frequently.
Dry Grains Container
You probably don’t need a Dry Grains Container unless you are grinding dry grains today. For example, you’re already making your own flours. The 48-ounce wet container that comes standard with your Vitamix can make nut butters without any special attachment.

X4 & X5 models come with a cookbook. If you want avoid underusing your Vitamix, subscribe to Blending For Good โ even if you only do the free week, you’ll be way better than if you hadn’t.

Vitamix has never offered a glass container and likely never will. They break easily and aren’t sustainable to support from a warranty perspective.
Vacuum blender
Vacuum blending may get you more nutritions blends. But the benefits aren’t worth the effort associated with a machine that supports vacuuming out all the air out from a container before blending.
