Web Accessibility
Hey there —
I’m Lenny Gale, one of the co-founders of Blending For Good. I want to share with you why digital accessibility isn’t just a legal requirement for us – it’s a deeply personal mission.
My journey into the world of accessibility began when my son, Judah, was born with Down syndrome. While we’ve been fortunate that many aspects of our community are set up to provide the extra support he needs, we’ve also encountered situations where accessibility was lacking.
These experiences have opened our eyes and hearts, developing in us a deep empathy for people with all types of disabilities. Whether it’s accommodating a food allergy at a restaurant, ensuring physical accessibility in public spaces, or making websites navigable for those with visual impairments, we’ve come to understand that accessibility is about creating a world where everyone can participate fully and independently.
So at Blending For Good, we’re committed to ensuring that everyone, regardless of ability, can access and benefit from our services. We believe that technology should empower, not hinder, and among our values, we strive to make our website a model of digital inclusivity.
To this end, we’ve implemented numerous accessibility features, including:
We’re proud to say that our website currently meets WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards. However, we recognize that accessibility is an ongoing journey, not a destination. We’re continuously working to improve and expand our accessibility features.
We acknowledge that we may not have achieved perfection yet. If you encounter any accessibility barriers on our site, please let us know by contacting our support team. Your feedback is invaluable in our quest for full inclusivity.
Thank you for being part of our community. Together, we can create a more accessible digital world for everyone.
With gratitude,
