About us
What is Blending For Good?
Blending For Good is Shalva & Lenny Gale’s Vitamix shop: an authorized Vitamix dealer that also helps you actually use it.
We do three things:
- Sell Vitamix blenders. Same machine, price, and full factory warranty as buying direct.
- Teach you our system with Vitamix Jumpstart. A one-time course for people who got a Vitamix to change their life.
- Keep you cooking with The Blending For Good Club. A membership with a live cook-along every month, a check-in every week, and every recipe and meal plan we’ve made.
We’re a family-owned Certified B Corp in Minneapolis.
What are you going for?
To be the best place to get a Vitamix. That’s it. It’s what we hope you’ll tell your friends and family when they ask where to buy one.
Who are Shalva & Lenny?
We’re a married couple in Minneapolis, and we’ve been in the Vitamix world since 2012. We started as Vitamix reps doing demonstrations. Shalva is the home chef behind our food. Lenny handles buying help and usually answers the phone. Read our story →
Were you Life is NOYOKE?
Yes. Before Blending For Good, we ran Life is NOYOKE, which became the top Vitamix affiliate, with more than 25,000 Vitamix sales. Today we’re an authorized Vitamix dealer, so you buy from us directly.
Are you a big company?
No. It’s the two of us and a handful of helpers across the US. No investors, no call center.
Buying a Vitamix from us
Are you an authorized Vitamix dealer?
Yes. Your Vitamix ships from Vitamix headquarters in the same box, with the same full factory warranty, as buying direct.
Is it the same price as Vitamix.com?
Yes. Same machine, same price. We also offer a price match guarantee.
Why buy from you instead of Vitamix.com, Costco, or Amazon?
The machine is the same. What comes with it isn’t. Every Vitamix from us includes:
- Vitamix Jumpstart ($249 value), starting the day you order. It includes The Playbook and text support from us, so it feels like learning from a friend.
- Free 60-day returns, and we send the return label
- Warranty help. Email us first and we’ll deal with Vitamix for you.
We also give 2% of every sale to No Kid Hungry.

Which Vitamix models do you sell?
We carry the three we think are best for most people:
- Ascent X5. The best you can get. All ten programs, 10-year warranty.
- Ascent X4. Premium, plenty of programs, 10-year warranty.
- VX1. The classic, upgraded with pulse and a cleaning cycle. 5-year warranty.

Why only three models?
Because most people don’t need twelve choices. They need the right one. We’d rather help you pick well than sell you something you’ll outgrow or never use.

How fast does it ship?
Orders ship within 3 business days. Shipping is free on orders over $100, which includes every machine. Track your order →

Jumpstart and the Club
What’s the difference between Jumpstart and the Club?
Vitamix Jumpstart is our system for making a Vitamix change your life. It’s a one-time course for $249. You get a one-week intensive by email, check-ins with us through your first month, text support, and The Playbook. It’s made to feel like learning from a friend. It’s for people who got a Vitamix because it could change how they eat and live, and who want our way of making that actually happen.
The Blending For Good Club is ongoing. It’s how you always have something good to make. You get:
- A live cook-along with us every month
- A check-in every week
- Every recipe and meal plan we’ve ever made
It’s $100 a year or $25 a month.
They’re separate. The Club doesn’t include Jumpstart, and you don’t need one to do the other.
The short version: Jumpstart changes how you use your Vitamix. The Club keeps you making things.
Which one should I start with?

Is Jumpstart included when I buy a Vitamix from you?
Yes, with every machine. It starts the day you order, so you’re ready before the box arrives.
Is there a one-on-one version of Jumpstart?
Yes. Jumpstart 1:1 is $1,149. You get everything in Jumpstart, plus a 2-hour Zoom with us and a plan customized for you.
Is Jumpstart included in the Club?
No. Jumpstart is its own one-time course for $249. If you bought your Vitamix from us, you already have it.
Do I need to have bought my Vitamix from you?
No. Jumpstart and the Club work with any Vitamix bought new in the last 25 years.
How much is the Club?
- Monthly: $25 a month
- Annual: $100 a year, about $8 a month
- Ambassador: $200 a year. Includes your year plus two year-long memberships to give away. Any you don’t give go toward scholarships.
When are the cook-alongs?
The second Tuesday of every month at 6pm Central. Can’t make it live? Every one is recorded, and the replay is yours.
Can I cancel the Club?
Anytime, in one click. You keep everything through the end of what you’ve paid for. How memberships work →

Is there an app to download?
No. Everything runs in your browser, on your phone or computer. There’s nothing to install.

Are your recipes free?
A few are. The full recipe library, meal plans, and cook-along replays come with the Club.
Is it vegan?
Everything we make is 100% plant-based. It’s loved by people across the dietary spectrum, and many recipes are great starting points for adding whatever protein you like.
What’s The Playbook?
A printable PDF of our best things to make. It’s not a printed book. It comes with Jumpstart, so you also get it with every Vitamix you buy from us. It’s available in our Standard edition or Gentle Gourmet, a soft-foods version for anyone recovering from surgery, dental work, or braces.
Do I need to be a good cook?
No. Lenny isn’t, and that’s kind of the point. Everything here is made for busy people, by busy people.

What if something goes wrong with my Vitamix?
Every machine has the full factory warranty: 10 years on the Ascent X4 and X5, 5 years on the VX1. Email us first and we’ll handle it with Vitamix for you.
