How’d you get here?

Hey there —

I’m Lenny Gale, one of the co-founders of Blending For Good. I’ve been running this company (previously Life is NOYOKE) for 12 years.

This is a story of wanting better. With a wake-up call.

For some, it’s when we’re drowning at work. For others, it’s becoming a parent. Or an empty-nester.

For everyone who’s been there, the feeling is the same: I need to take better care of myself.

I was one of the lucky ones! I was 26 and had no major medical issues; just priorities all out of whack — work hard, play hard, as they say.

Okay, it’s time to eat some greens; what’s the easiest way? Smoothies.

The problem was, my blenders kept letting me down. Even the “good” ones were so bad.

So I researched “best blender.” But the process brought even more pain – scrolling and reading and watching and head-spinning paralysis by analysis and doubt.

Working to justify this purchase felt like another full-time job.

So after reluctantly getting one and slowly discovering it was a total game-changer, I made it my mission to make sure everyone I knew could fast-forward past all the pain and time spent as fast and as confidently as possible to get to the promised land of incorporating a premium blender into their lifestyle.

People needed to see the value. And buying one needed to feel amazing.

This became a career. I was the internet’s Vitamix guy.

We wrote books, taught classes, joined podcasts, produced video tutorials with millions of views. All in the service of our customers.

With the help of my partner Shalva, we’d helped over 25,000 customers “take the plunge.” Every one of them getting a better experience than the what else was out there.

But as people kept asking, “Can I just buy from you?” it was time to raise the bar once again.
