Peanut Butter and Jelly (PB&J) Shake

minutesSometimes a smoothie without bananas is what you need. With mixed berries and peanut butter, the PB&J shake deserves a place in the smoothie and shake hall of fame. We’d argue it’s better than a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and is one of the only protein shakes you ever need.
Ingredients
1 cup (240 ml) unsweetened milk of choice
ยฝ cup (65g) frozen blueberries
ยฝ cup (65g) frozen strawberries
1 tablespoon (20g) natural peanut butter
1 scoop (30g) protein powder (optional)
1 tablespoon (7.5g) flaxseed (optional)
Directions
- Add liquid ingredients to blender first
- Add remaining ingredients
- Blend until smooth and creamy

Notes
- Works with any berry combination (limit to 1-2 types)
- Can substitute whole peanuts for peanut butter
- Can substitute mixed nuts or other nut butter
- Great to make just after making nut butter. You don’t even need to clean the container.
- Storage:
Best consumed right away. If needed, store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
