kcalHomemade peanut butter in a Vitamix is one of those things you don’t know you’re missing out on until you make it. We love having fresh, creamy peanut butter on hand and making it ourselves means we know exactly what’s in it. It’s just so good and surprisingly simple to make. What shocked us was discovering how many store-bought peanut buttersโeven the ones labeled “all natural”โcontain preservatives and added sugar. When you make it at home, you get pure, one-ingredient peanut butter with nothing but nuts. The aroma that fills your kitchen while it’s blending is absolutely incredible, and every time we make this we’re thrilled with how much better it tastes than anything from the store. While we love classic peanut butter, you can use any roasted nuts you have on handโalmonds, cashews, or even a mixโfor endless variety.
4 cups (575 g) dry roasted peanuts
1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
Thank you chef

Is it more difficult to make almond butter?
I finally took the plunge and bought myself a Vitamix E310, and this was one of the first recipes I made–O..M..G. AMAZING!! So smooth and creamy!
Yes! Welcome to the party. ๐
Should I use the regular or dry container?
Regular! ๐
So sad. I have the Ascent 2300 and have had a tough time making nut butter. The vitamix gets jammed quickly – and even after 3 minutes, the peanut butter is not smooth.
Got the E31 error code today – and the motor smelled hot and rubbery. Nice. Maybe I have one of the .05% of machines that are defective?
Maybe. Are you using Variable Speed 10?
