Ingredients: 4 cup water; 1 green apple (cored); 1 orange (peeled); 2 cup dark leafy greens (any combination of kale, spinach, collard greens, or swiss chard); 2 inch piece fresh ginger root (rinsed, or 1 tablespoon ground ginger); 1 inch piece fresh turmeric root (rinsed, or 1 teaspoon ground turmeric); 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds; 1 tablespoon chia seeds; 1/4 teaspoon black pepper; 1 lemon (peeled); 1 stalk celery; 2 tablespoon pineapple chunks (fresh or frozen); 1 cup ice; small piece hot pepper (optional — capsaicin has anti-inflammatory properties)

While I don’t have RA I do have various joint and inflammation issues so I wanted to try this. Plus it just sounded tasty. It was my first recipe and wow is it delicious!
